Midnight Paper Butterflyby ~LockeEx

Customization / Wallpaper / Minimalistic / Light

I was doing something arbitrary when I suddenly found the inspiration to try and make something origami-like in Blender.

After making the mesh sufficiently paper-like in Blender, I spent a while tweaking and testing out different materials, textures, and lighting.

For Blender users: I used ambient occlusion with a white environment. No lamps. Noise Texture with MapTo col, nor, and alpha.

This is the result of my work.

At first I couldn't figure out what you meant, but then I Googled it.

You're right, they do look kind of similar. That's pretty interesting, especially since I've never seen their logo before. Their butterflies look more detailed though, are they real?
